Q: What equipment do I need to use XRWorkout?
A: All you need is a Meta Quest 2,3 or Pro - We recommend a Quest 3 to get the best experience as it has full colour passthrough but a Quest 2 and Quest Pro also work great.
Q: Can extra equipment be used?
A: Yes! extra equipment can be used to enhance your experience even further:
1.  A good quality strap like the Meta Quest 3 Elite strap can help with some of the exercises like running and push-ups
2.  A pair of dumbbells or wrist weights for the weightlifting feature
3.  An Android Phone or iPhone to use the mobile companion app and the foot tracking feature
4.  A chair for the chair lift exercises
Q: How do I get XRWorkout?
A: Simply download it from the Meta Quest App Store here or by searching ‘XRWorkout’ on your Quest Store app.
Q: Is XRWorkout free?
A: XRWorkout is free to download and use for 8 minutes per day with basic functionality. We offer a Pro Membership that has access to all the features and content detailed here.
Q: What types of workouts are available on the app?
A: We currently offer 2 tutorial workouts and 14 pre-set workouts that dynamically change each time you use them.
Q: Can I create my own workouts?
A: Yes! one of our powerful features is the workout builder where you can either create a workout that is generated from exercises that you pick.

Q: Can I specify the order of the exercises?
A: Yes! We have an advanced builder that allows you to specify the order, duration and intensity of each sequence.
Q: Can I add my own music?
A: Yes! We have a huge library of existing songs and also a way of searching for music that you can add too.
Q: How do I choose the right workout for my fitness level?
A: We recommend starting with easy and then progressing to medium and then hard when you want more of a challenge.
Q: Can I use XRWorkout if I have health issues or physical limitations?
A: Yes! you can customise your workouts to only include exercises that you can perform, and the ‘Stand’ exercises can be performed seated (we need to fix the name!)
Q: How is my workout progress tracked in the app?
A: There are 3 ways you can do this:
1.  A stats panel on your left in the main menu of the VR app
2.  The mobile app (iOS only at the moment)
3.  The user portal on the website here
Q: Is there multiplayer?
A: Yes! You can select multiplayer from the main menu and choose from public, private and pro only rooms. You can also join any existing workouts by selecting join.
Q: What safety precautions should I take when using XRWorkout?
A: A few pointers here:
1.  Always make sure to stretch properly before and after your workout
2.  Make sure you have at least 2 meters x 2 meters free space and you are re-cantered using the Quest button
3.  All pets, children and obstacles are not in your playing area
4.  If you start to feel unwell or need to take a break remove the headset immediately and take a seat.

Q: Can I use the app without an internet connection?
A: Yes! but with a slight restriction - if you are a pro user you will only be able to access the free mode of the app while you are disconnected.
Q: How can I recover my account if I forget my login details?
A: You can reset your details here
Q: What if I buy a new Quest?
A: Your account and progress are safe on our end - just download the app again and login using your account and everything will be how it was on your previous Quest.
Q: What if I need to factory reset my Quest?
A: Same as above - everything is safe. Just download and login.
Q: Are there any age restrictions for XRWorkout?
A: Due to public multiplayer we recommend anyone from 13-18 are accompanied by an adult.
Q: How do I cancel my Pro Membership?
A: You can cancel your monthly or annual Pro Membership via the Meta Quest mobile app or the Meta Quest website.
Q: How do I delete my account?
A: Just send us a quick email to [email protected] from the account email address you want to delete and we will do that for you.
Q: How can I provide feedback or suggest new features for the app?
